ON MARCH 17, 2024 A MASSIVE FIRE DESTROYED THE WIA CLUBHOUSE AND THE ISLAND CAFE. WE ARE NOT TAKING BOOKINGS FOR THE WIA AT THIS TIME. The Shaw House and the Algonquin Island Clubhouse are still taking bookings for 2024.

For almost a century, the Toronto Island's venerable clubhouses have been a community home for members and guests in the
pursuit of leisure, whether amateur sports, recreational activities, or other social events. These days, the community-operated clubhouses and the public space in the Shaw House are also rented to the public for a range of events, from corporate retreats and barbecues to full weekend weddings. Each building has its own charm and personality; all are infused with Island Spirit and a propensity for good times.
